The draft water plan, draft water management protocol and draft water entitlement notice for the Condamine and Balonne are now available for public comment. We would like to invite anyone with an interest in the water resources of the Condamine and Balonne water plan area to review the draft water plan and supporting documents available on the Business Queensland website and make a formal submission using the provided link.

Submissions which support aspects of the draft water plan, as well as those that suggest improvements, are encouraged. All properly made submissions will be considered by the chief executive prior to finalisation of the draft water plan.

Information sessions will provide interested parties with the opportunity to meet with departmental representatives to discuss aspects of the draft water plan. Details on information sessions are also available on the Business Queensland website.

We appreciate your interest in the planning process and value your input. The submission form will help you to identify concerns you would like addressed.

We ask that you identify yourself so that your submission may be considered properly made under the Water Act 2000 and so that we may respond to your submission and contact you for further information or consultation, if required.

Submissions must be made to the Chief Executive and received on or before 5pm Friday 1 June 2018.

Email and internet submissions will also be accepted.

Please email any additional supporting information to the email address provided stating your name and ‘additional supporting information’ in the subject line.

NOTE: All submissions will be treated as confidential. However, please note submissions may be viewed by other parties under the provisions of the Right to Information Act 2009.
