The Queensland Government is undertaking a comprehensive review of the Queensland Environmental Offsets Framework.
The aim is to ensure the continued protection of the state’s significant biodiversity values through a world-class internationally recognised approach to offset delivery.
The review will explore innovative ways to achieve conservation outcomes, increase landholder participation and improve social, cultural and economic benefits.
All stakeholders are invited to consider the discussion paper, Review of the Queensland Environmental Offsets Framework and provide feedback on the strengths, opportunities and areas for improvement within the framework.
More information about the review of Queensland’s environmental offsets framework and the discussion paper is available here.
