Open Doors to Renting Reform

The Queensland Government believes all Queenslanders deserve a safe, secure and sustainable home.

We’re opening the doors to renting reform to improve renting for everyone by looking at how renting works in Queensland. We want to hear from Queenslanders about your experiences of living in, owning or managing rental properties.

If you’ve experienced Queensland’s rental market as a tenant, property owner or property manager, or indirectly through friends and family experiences, have your say on how to improve renting for everyone.

Why we're asking

Renting is an important housing option for many Queenslanders, and most people will rent for part, or all, of their adult lives. Many people also see investing in rental properties as a way of securing their financial future.

Your feedback will help us to meet the rental needs of Queenslanders now and into the future.

Tell us what you think
