Queensland Sport and Active Recreation Strategy 2019-2029 - Discussion Paper

Have your say on the future of sport and active recreation in Queensland.

The Queensland Government is committed to ensuring all Queenslanders have an opportunity to participate in sport and recreation activities across our great state.

As part of this commitment we would like to hear from community members and other key stakeholders about how government investment in sport and active recreation can better support all Queenslanders to be more physically active, healthier and better connected while also supporting elite success, economic growth and jobs.

To start the conversation, the Queensland Sport and Active Recreation Strategy 2019-2029 – Discussion Paper (PDF, 5.3MB) (discussion paper) has been released. The discussion paper highlights the reasons why Queensland needs a sport and active recreation strategy.
