Reef Regulations: Consultation Regulatory Impact Statement

You’re invited to provide feedback on the Consultation Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS): Broadening and enhancing reef protection regulations that outlines and assesses the costs and benefits for the Queensland Government’s proposal to broaden and enhance the existing reef protection regulations under the Environmental Protection Act.

In March 2017, the Queensland Government released a public discussion paper outlining the proposals for comment. Feedback from the discussion paper was used to refine the proposals and prepare the RIS.

The RIS is an important step for the government to move towards the next stage in deciding whether to amend existing reef protection legislation and we invite your feedback:
