Great Artesian Basin and other regional aquifers—draft water plan

The water of the Queensland section of the Great Artesian Basin (GAB) is currently managed through the Great Artesian Basin Water Resource Plan 2006. This plan will expire in September 2017 and a draft replacement plan has been developed.

The Department of Natural Resources and Mines (DNRM) is now seeking submissions from interested individuals, groups or entities about the new draft water plan for the GAB and other regional aquifers.

How to make a submission

By making a submission, you will be able to highlight any concerns you would like addressed.

Submissions can be made in writing, via email or by completing the online form in the link below.
