Have your say on ShapingSEQ—draft regional plan

The Queensland Government has released ShapingSEQ—draft South East Queensland Regional Plan 2016. ShapingSEQ is about making better use of our urban land and infrastructure, and supporting affordable living.

The draft plan provides a 50-year vision.

Why do we need to revise the SEQ regional plan?
SEQ’s population is expected to grow by 1.98 million by 2041 leading to the need for 1.1 million extra jobs and more than 780,000 homes. We need to accommodate SEQ’s growing and changing population through new development which is supported by high quality design to create great places.

Visit the ShapingSEQ website to find out more.
