We're reviewing Queensland’s approach to combating drug driving and investigating how we can reduce the number of lives lost on our roads from this fatal 5 behaviour.
This will include a review of laws to ensure they follow best practice, nationally and internationally. This review is based on contemporary research evidence and stakeholder consultation.
As one part of the review, you’re invited to have your say on cannabis and driving.
To assist in providing your suggestions the Cannabis and driving in Queensland consultation paper (715KB PDF) has been developed.
Your input is valuable and will be considered as part of the broader drug driving review and will help to inform any changes that are made.
The Queensland Drug Driving Review is due to be completed in 2024.
