The Department of Communities offers a range of resources to promote effective community engagement across government, community and the private sector.
- Guides and publications are being produced in partnership with government and non-government community engagement professionals. These include introductions to community engagement, capacity building resources aimed at the rural and regional sector and guides for engaging with specific population groups.
- Case studies from government and non-government practitioners share learnings and experiences gained through a range of community engagement activities.
- e-Connect is a monthly bulletin that links you with the latest research and initiatives in community engagement.
- INSPIRE is a bulletin that links you with the latest research and initiatives in community engagement. INSPIRE supersedes e-Connect.
- A series of tools have been included on the OPSC website to help build community engagement into recruitment, selection and performance management systems across the public sector.
