Purpose

The purpose of the Community Engagement Evaluation Strategy is to:

  1. propose an approach to community engagement evaluation; and
  2. outline a process to build public sector capability to undertake consistent and useful evaluation of community engagement practice as part of:
    • performance monitoring and reporting;
    • project management and development; and
    • developing a shared evidence and knowledge base for good community engagement practice.
