Regulatory Assessment Statement register

A Regulatory Assessment Statement ensures regulation is developed reasonably, appropriately and in line with best practice principles, and also ensures the impacts of regulation on business, community and government can be accurately assessed. A Regulatory Assessment Statement is prepared for regulatory proposals that are likely to impose a ‘significant’ impact on business, community or government.

Regulatory Assessment Statements will ensure regulations meet the needs of today’s economic environment and uphold necessary protections and safeguards without stifling innovation or productivity.

All Regulatory Assessment Statements will be listed below when they are endorsed for public release by Queensland Government departments, agencies and statutory authorities. All upcoming Regulatory Assessment Statements or those currently open for consultation can be found at ConsultQld.
