Each year, hundreds of thousands of Queensland volunteers give their time freely to support others in our great tradition of volunteering. This varies from supporting a small local charity to helping stage an international sporting event. Regardless of the activity, it is impossible to put a value on the enormous contribution that volunteers make to the community.
