Take a virtual tour
Embark on a virtual tour of the Queensland Parliament, where you can journey through the halls of power paced by your Members of Parliaments since 1868. You will be given access to some of the buildings most important public areas, as well as access to areas not previously available to the public. Photos, current and historical, will add life to the educational and historical information provided.

Attend a regional sitting in Queensland
Queensland Parliament holds regional sittings once every term (three years).

Hansard
This is an official record of what is said during parliamentary proceedings. You can access daily transcripts (PDF and HTML formats) after 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm each sitting day, back copies of Hansard and speeches by Members of Parliament.

Tabled papers
Queensland parliamentary business includes the tabling of reports and petitions. Through the Queensland Parliament's single repository database, you can search for papers tabled in the Legislative Assembly by Member of Parliament, date or key word/s by using the calendars and drop down menus. Over time, this database will be updated to include papers tabled in previous Parliaments.

Bills
The Queensland Parliament makes, modifies or repeals laws by Acts of Parliament. For the passing of Bills:

Legislation
Current annotations contain Queensland legislation including details of Acts, subordinate legislation and certain other statutory and prerogative instruments. Includes updates to weekly legislation changes.

ePetitions
Petitioning is one of the traditional forms by which citizens can make requests direct to Parliament. A petition is a formal request signed by at least one person and placed before the Parliament with the object of persuading the Parliament to take some particular action. For example, a petition may request the alteration of the general law or the re-consideration of some administrative decision.

Repealed annotations
Contains repealed Queensland legislation Acts, subordinate legislation and NSW or Imperial legislation no longer applying in Queensland. Includes updates to the weekly repeals of legislation.

Research publications are compiled for Members of the Queensland Parliament for use in parliamentary debates and for related parliamentary purposes. Information on legislation, case law or legal policy issues does not constitute legal advice. Research publications on Bills reflect the legislation as introduced and should not be considered complete guides to the legislation.
