International Volunteer Day
This day is celebrated world-wide with thousands of volunteers involved in a range of initiatives aimed
to highlight the role of volunteers in their communities.
Queensland Young Volunteer Awards
You can nominate a volunteer for this award which celebrates and rewards the volunteering efforts of
young Queenslanders.
The Premier's Awards for Queensland Seniors
This award acknowledges the key role many older people play in the community, in particular their voluntary
contributions in Queensland.
Queensland Multicultural Awards
The Queensland Multicultural Awards recognise and celebrate the people and organisations who help promote and
support multiculturalism in Queensland.
National Volunteer Week
National Volunteer Week is about identifying, promoting and recognising volunteering in our community.
