Carlo Point Marina Project, Inskip Peninsula - Draft terms of reference

The Carlo Point Marina project is a development proposal for an integrated marina incorporating marine related commercial uses, amenities for marina users, and a range of tourist accommodation, parking areas and parklands. The location is three kilometres west of Rainbow Beach on the Inskip Peninsula and approximately 265 kilometres north of Brisbane.
Preparation of the terms of reference for an Environmental Impact Statement is the first stage of the assessment process. The Chief Executive responsible for the Integrated Planning Act 1997 has prepared draft terms of reference and is now seeking public comments.
How to have your say
Submissions must be made in writing, signed by each person making the submission and include each submitter's name and address. The grounds for the comments must be stated as well as the facts and circumstances relied on to support these grounds.Submissions close at 5 pm Friday 6 November 2009. All submissions will be treated as public documents.
Anyone may make comments on the draft terms of reference and written comments should be sent to the address below.
