A Queensland Government Strategy to Target Domestic and Family Violence: 2009 - 2013

Closing date for feedback: 19 December 2008

The response period for the consultation paper on a consultation paper about a new whole-of-government strategy to target domestic and family violence is now closed.

The consultation was led by the Department of Communities in partnership with the nine government agencies.

The Strategy will aim to ensure people, particularly women and children, experiencing domestic and family violence are safe, adequately protected and supported; and to ensure people who are violent are monitored and held accountable and responsible for their behaviour.
