Coal Seam Gas Water Management in Queensland
The Queensland Government recently made a number of policy decisions about the management of coal seam gas (CSG) water. These decisions will deliver more environmentally sustainable outcomes and encourage greater beneficial use of CSG water. Now government wants you to have your say on specific policy issues particularly government's position that the CSG industry will be required to develop and fund a CSG water aggregation and disposal system or systems to deal with excess CSG water.
