Mandatory load control for pool filtration systems on new swimming pools The Queensland Government wants your feedback on a proposal to mandate load control for pool filtration systems on household swimming pools. Under the proposal, electricity distributors, ENERGEX and Ergon Energy would manage electricity supply to pool filtration systems during peak demand periods. This requirement would avoid the significant contribution of new pool filtration systems to future peak demand and improve the sustainability of Queensland’s electricity infrastructure.
