Conditions of use

This website provides an alternative way for Queenslanders to have their say on key policy issues currently under consultation by the Queensland Government.

We encourage you to familiarise yourself with the Conditions of Use before using this website:

ConsultQld is a moderated, online consultation forum. Some terms and conditions are considered particularly important to maintain the spirit in which Queenslanders' contributions are made to this website, and to protect the rights of participants and the State of Queensland.

You must agree to particular aspects of these Conditions of Use before you can either contribute your views or browse the views of others.

A site moderator is responsible for reviewing all incoming responses to an issue and ensuring that published responses meet the criteria outlined within the Acceptable Use Policy.

The moderator considers compliance with these requirements when deciding whether to publish contributions to the website, as well as in deciding to remove contributions published on the site if information comes to hand which raises doubts about whether they comply with any of the Conditions of Use (for example, in the event if there is a dispute about copyright or moral rights).

If the moderator decides that your contribution is not to be published on the website, or your contribution is to be removed, you will be sent an email message (if you have provided an email address) explaining the reasons.

The content of your contributions to this website are, and will be, treated by the Queensland Government as non-confidential unless you specifically state otherwise.

All views contributed to the website are automatically stored within a database, and will be used for the purpose of developing a Feedback Report from the responsible Minister. The Feedback Report for each issue will also be published on this website.

You may access and make contributions to this website subject to the Conditions of Use. In using the website, you agree to be bound by the Conditions of Use. If you do not accept these Conditions of Use, you must refrain from using the website. Please note that the Department of Communities manages this website on behalf of the State of Queensland and may modify the Conditions of Use at any time. If you continue to use the website following any modification of the Conditions of Use, you will be considered to have accepted the modified Conditions of Use.
